Que Es Twitter – Como Funciona Twitter ?

¿Qué es Twitter?

Según la página Web “Wikipedia” Twitter es:

“Un servicio de redes sociales y MicroBlogging que permite a sus usuarios enviar mensajes de sólo texto, con una longitud máxima de 140 caracteres, vía SMS, o mensajería instantánea, en el sitio Web de Twitter [...]”

Respecto a Twitter yo lo calificaría como una aplicación de Web 2.0 que nos ayuda a comunicarnos e interrelacionarnos fácilmente con otras personas instantáneamente y en tiempo real.

¿Cómo Promocionar tu Twitter?

Para ello, puedes poner simplemente tu nombre de usuario de Twitter en tu página Web, o en tu blog personal y promocionarlo en tus perfiles correspondientes en las redes sociales.

También es importante señalar, que considerar tu página de Twitter como uno de los elementos esenciales en cuanto a recursos que te ofrece la red, te puede proporcionar más relevancia, en cuanto a tu presencia en Internet, y por tanto, recomiendo mencionarlo también cuando citas tu página Web.

Estas son sólo unas ideas e indicaciones sobre como usar Twitter.
Recuerda que la finalidad principal y la idea central en la que se basa el funcionamiento de Twitter, es en establecer relación, conversaciones y poder interactuar con otras personas, no para promocionar tus productos o servicios.

Por tanto, el consejo que te doy es que desde mi punto de vista, debemos relacionarnos y considerar a nuestros contactos en Twitter más bien como si fueran amigos.

Personalmente he usado twitter durante los últimos meses y me gusta mucho. En principio es difícil creer que solo comunicando “que hacemos ahora mismo” vamos a conseguir tener más tráfico y mejor presencia en Internet.
Sin embargo, he tenido varias experiencias muy buenas con Twitter y creo que es una de las herramientas de web 2.0 más importantes del futuro.

Lo importante es ser honesto y transparente al comunicar a los demás exactamente que haces, sin procurar vender algo directamente. Twitter crea curiosidad y eso es una de las mejores “armas” en el entorno web 2.0.

Lo bueno en Twitter es que lo puedes integrar y utilizar simultáneamente con otras herramientas de web 2.0 como con tu perfil en Facebook, y lo puedes actualizar rápido desde tu skype, usando una aplicación que se llama twitter4skype.

You may have to pay a certain rate for each inclusion but the reward would be worth it.

In most cases, optimizing your website is not a set-it and forget-it exercise. While this may work with niche markets with very little competition, in most cases, you will be up against hungry webmasters who are up all night trying to outperform you. So make website optimization a frequent activity, or better yet a hobby, and you should see success catching up with you.
